CIS recently completed a very demanding project in Australasia. The project was in a remote jungle location and involved the installation of some sixty 48-in. and ninety 18-in. steel foundation piles for two wharfs and three river crossings. The country’s geography, which is mostly mountains with coastal lowlands and foothills, and its tropical climate, fast-flowing rivers and lack of infrastructure placed special demands on the crews delivering the project and all had to undergo extensive medical checks.
CIS helped with the design of the equipment supplied by the main contractor to ensure the whole operation was conducted to meet the technical requirements of the end user and the whole project was completed without any incidents or equipment down time.
